A copy of the decision notice can be viewed on Broxbourne website http://www.broxbourne.gov.uk/applicationsearch alternatively, a copy of the decision notice is available by forwarding a payment of £19.70.
This will be a big relief for many people as were concerned about the effects on traffic at the roundabout and the increased usage of the fast food outlets in Masons Parade.
Well done for all those who submitted comments – you were clearly listen to.
Note: the reasons for not approving included that the developers wanted to increase numbers above what was recently agreed in the Local Plan. The number of dwellings in the application was way above what the Council originally did not having any exceptional circumstances and it appears the decline to planned to reduce the allocated space for Local Space.
Please keep an eye on Broxbournes website for a new application as will probably resubmit.
