A survey by the Food Foundation claims that more than three million people (6%) in Great Britain have gone hungry since lockdown began three weeks ago, with 1.5 million reporting that someone in their household has been unable to eat, despite being hungry, because they did not have enough food; a good reason why volunteering effort is so very important.
Hertfordshire Household Waste Recycling Centre’s; at Brookfield (and Pindar Road) are currently closed in line with government directions.
Traffic Regulations Orders (TRO) will come into effect on Monday 20 April 2020 in Cavell Road, Debenham Road, Longfield Lane, and Peakes Way for road maintenance.
A TRO will also come into force on 21 May 2020, with temporary closing and temporary waiting restrictions in A10 Turnford Link Road, Turnford. An alternative route will be via A1170, High Road/High Street/Charlton Way/Dinant Link Road/Hoddesdon Link Road and A10.
MOTs extension; for residents with All car, motorcycle, light van or other light vehicle MOTs due for expiry from 30th March will be automatically extended by 6 months. This will be done just before it’s due to expire. Please click on the link above for more details.
