Tonight, the members /residents of Goffs Oak won the CPRE Rural Award 2019 for its work in the local community.
This includes all the work carried out for the volunteers who took over the Flower Bed close to the Co-Op, the Litter Pickers who keep the Playing Fields and walkways litter free, the volunteer Staff in the Library, what seems to becoming our Community Hub and our GOCA Member who is becoming a historian by providing historical talks of Goffs Oak.
GOCA Website was also commended for its readability and keeping members in touch with local activities and Council plans.
Well done everyone and keep up the good work protecting, promoting and enhancing the Community and Environment.
