2 thoughts on “More applications to build on Green Belt Land in Goffs Oak – Halstead Hill and Newgatestreet Road

  1. It is a disgrace that there is such a persistence from developers to ruin what is left of this beautiful countryside
It was my life long dream to retire to this area away from the traffic, the crime and the noise.
Newgatestreet road is busy already with constant traffic and is already a danger to the many cyclists and horses that use it.
I have already moved half an hour away from my family in order to have peace after working in London for over 40 years.
Doctors surgeries and schools will not be able to cope with the numbers and parking for the local shops is already impossible.
The wildlife that exists in the area will also be gone, I had never seen a golden eagle till I moved here.
I strongly object to destroying more of this beautiful green belt, where does it stop.

  2. don’t forget to object to the application in the next 4 weeks so can be considered by the planning and regulatory committee. The more objections received, the more we have to be listened to. Go to Broxbourne council website, click under the arrow next to the planning application search which is found in the big box on the bottom left hand side and enter the reference number or address.
