It has been noted there is a low if no licensed Taxis (Hackney Carriages) that are Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles within the local area. This is in breach of the Equality Act 2010. We, our friends or family may all be affected by temporary or permanent lack of mobility at some time, so do give your views about the best way forward to improve taxi accessibility for wheel chair users.

Facilities for the disabled are often a benefit to everyone else. Look at Cuffley Station where The new wheelchair ramp at Cuffley station (southbound platform) is now in place and is so much easier for access and direct access to the library when going into central London.
